Greg Thorley holds two decades of private practice experience with a premier anesthesiology group in the Phoenix metropolitan area. During his tenure, he concomitantly held hospital medical staff, practice management, and corporate board positions.
After managing and growing their practice, Greg and the physician ownership group were successful in ultimately exiting the business to a nationwide, publicly-traded company. Thanks to his seller’s experience, Greg happens to be in a unique position to understand the emotional as well as strategic concerns a seller encounters when considering an exit.
Greg received his Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from Pomona College in Claremont, California.
Shortly thereafter, he decided to pursue medical school and attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson and consequently completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Texas Southwestern University Medical Center, most notably Parkland Hospital.
Following Greg’s selling experience, his educational path felt incomplete. In response, he decided to improve on his business acumen and received his MBA from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
